I've been doing this since I was a kid. Acting in school plays, making
little films, inventing stories and playing every character in them. Acting
is that same imagination I never wanted to grow out of, and I still love it
as much as I did back then.
Now I'm a New York actor working in film, television, and theater. I trained
at American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater, and Endgames
Improv, and I've played lead and supporting roles in independent films. I'm
Bangladeshi American and grew up speaking Bengali at home. I'm happiest in a
role when the character feels like a real person, not a type.
I also love making things. I write, direct, and shoot my own work, mostly
sketches, satires, and short films, and I'm building toward narrative
features of my own. When I'm not on set, I've usually got a camera in hand
or a screenplay I'm trying to finish.
Right now I'm looking for representation in film, television, and theater.
If you like what you see, let's talk.
